The volume shows the manifold themes of Greek poetry in Late Antiquity. The ekphrastic narrative techniques of Quintus Smyrnaeus and the composition of characters in Colluthus are analyzed, and Lycophron is proved as another source of Nonnus’ Dionysiaka.
