Object-Oriented Programming for Graphics

Free Download Object-Oriented Programming for Graphics By Remco Veltkamp, Edwin Blake (auth.), Chris Laffra, Edwin H. Blake, Vicki de Mey, Xavier Pintado (eds.)
1995 | 296 Pages | ISBN: 3642791948 | PDF | 11 MB
Object-oriented concepts are particularly applicable to computer graphics in its broadest sense, including interaction, image synthesis, animation, and computer-aided design. The use of object-oriented techniques in computer graphics is a widely acknowledged way of dealing with the complexities encountered in graphics systems. But the field of object-oriented graphics (OOG) is still young and full of problems. This book reports on latest advances in this field and discusses how the discipline of OOG is being explored and developed. The topics covered include object-oriented constraint programming, object-oriented modeling of graphics applications to handle complexity, object-oriented techniques for developing user interfaces, and 3D modeling and rendering.

Graphics and Robotics

Free Download Graphics and Robotics By C. Laloni, F. M. Wahl (auth.), Prof.Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang Straßer, Prof.Dr.-Ing. Friedrich Wahl (eds.)
1995 | 247 Pages | ISBN: 3540583580 | PDF | 18 MB
Problems common to graphics and robotics are covered in this reviewed selection of papers written following a 1993 workshop. Leading experts from both disciplines met to identify common problems, to present new solutions, and to discuss future research directions. Topics covered include robot simulation using graphics workstations, simulation concepts in the framework of teleoperation, path planning strategies, collision detection techniques, experimentation using virtual reality, modeling techniques for automated programming and for objects with curved surfaces, object-oriented implementations, various aspects of robot vision, and – in a paper that reflects the essence of the workshop – the challenging task of designing a vision system for a domestic robot.

Modelling and Graphics in Science and Technology

Free Download Modelling and Graphics in Science and Technology By Bernd Kehrer, Gerhard Vatterrott (auth.), José C. Teixeira, Joachim Rix (eds.)
1996 | 278 Pages | ISBN: 3540602445 | PDF | 10 MB
Graphics and Modelling are key technologies to support visualisation and product development tasks. Based on the recent developments in the areas of (scientific) visualisation, interaction techniques, distributed systems, and product design, in dustrial and applied research have improved the possibilities for further approaches and issues and for exchanging experiences. A workshop on Graphics and Model ling in Science & Technology was held in Coimbra, Portugal in June 1994, and the programme committee selected 19 papers for presentation. The workshop had a good international participation. Due to the extensive scientific contacts between Portuguese and German researchers, the workshop included the third Luso-German Computer Graphics Meeting. This book reflects the results of the workshop. The papers were updated after the workshop presentations to reflect the discussions during the meeting. Correspond ing to the different topics addresses in the workshop, the book is divided into the following six sections. CAD Models and Architectures Short overviews of the Reference Architecture for CAD and the Integration Con cept for CAD applications are given in this section. The integration ability of the international standard STEP is analysed, as well as STEP’s integration approaches for product data sharing and product data exchange.

Reusable Motion Graphics for Video From Adobe After Effects to Premiere

Free Download Reusable Motion Graphics for Video: From Adobe After Effects to Premiere

Learn how to animate reusable motion graphic templates in Adobe After Effects to customize in your Premiere Pro video projects. If you create video content of any kind, chances are you’ve needed to overlay graphics or text onto your footage. Doing this manually for multiple versions, can get tedious and time-consuming, especially if you have to adjust the animation each time. Turing these animated graphics into motion graphic templates (.mogrts), can save countless hours of work. Adding custom motion graphics to your videos isn’t just about aesthetics-it’s a way to deliver extra information and make your content stand out. While it’s easy to buy pre-made mogrts, creating your own allows you to add a personal touch or align them with your branding. You can even share or sell your templates!
