Nachdem Angela auch noch Friedrich Merz anranzt, schlägt Ehemann Achim ihr einen Besuch beim Psychologen vor. Da aber auch in Angelas beschaulichem Heimatort Klein-Freudenstadt Fachkräftemangel herrscht, gibt es für sie nur einen Platz in einer Gruppentherapie bei Doktor Felix Fenstermacher. Dummerweise wird der Therapeut gleich nach der ersten Sitzung auf seinem Hausboot in die Luft gesprengt. Angela bekommt dadurch gleich viel bessere Laune, endlich kann sie wieder ermitteln. Verdächtig sind die Mitglieder der Gruppe: ein Wutbürger, eine Katzenfrau, eine Viren-Phobikerin, eine Klimaaktivistin und ein Mann, dem es buchstäblich die Sprache verschlagen hat. Allerdings fällt der Verdacht der anderen erst einmal auf Angela selbst, schließlich starb der Therapeut gleich nach ihrer ersten gemeinsamen Sitzung.
