Advd Model Parameter Extractio

English | 2019 | pages: 609 | ISBN: 1630817449 | PDF | 45,1 mb
All model parameters are fundamentally coupled together, so that directly measured individual parameters, although widely used and accepted, may initially only serve as good estimates. This comprehensive resource presents all aspects concerning the modeling of semiconductor field-effect device parameters based on gallium-arsenide (GaAs) and generative adversarial network (GaN) technology. Metal-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MESFETs), high electron mobility transistors (HEMTs) and heterojunction bipolar transistors (HBTs), their structures and functions, and existing transistor models are also classified. The Shockley model is presented in order to give insight into semiconductor field-effect transistor (FET) device physics and explain the relationship between geometric and material parameters and device performance. Extraction of trapping and thermal time constants is discussed. A special section is devoted to standard nonlinear FET models applied to large-signal measurements, including static-/pulsed-DC and single-/two-tone stimulation. High power measurement setups for signal waveform measurement, wideband source-/load-pull measurement (including envelope source-/load pull) are also included, along with high-power intermodulation distortion (IMD) measurement setup (including envelope load-pull). Written by a world-renowned expert in the field, this book is the first to cover of all aspects of semiconductor FET device modeling in a single volume.

Control and Optimal Design of Distributed Parameter Systems

Free Download Control and Optimal Design of Distributed Parameter Systems By Giovanni Crosta (auth.), John E. Lagnese, David L. Russell, Luther W. White (eds.)
1995 | 246 Pages | ISBN: 1461384621 | PDF | 7 MB
The articles in this volume focus on control theory of systems governed by nonlinear linear partial differential equations, identification and optimal design of such systems, and modelling of advanced materials. Optimal design of systems governed by PDEs is a relatively new area of study, now particularly relevant because of interest in optimization of fluid flow in domains of variable configuration, advanced and composite materials studies and "smart" materials which include possibilities for built in sensing and control actuation. The book will be of interest to both applied mathematicians and to engineers.

Parameter Identification and Inverse Problems in Hydrology, Geology and Ecology

Free Download Parameter Identification and Inverse Problems in Hydrology, Geology and Ecology By Paul Duchateau (auth.), Johannes Gottlieb, Paul DuChateau (eds.)
1996 | 302 Pages | ISBN: 9401072639 | PDF | 14 MB
The Workshop on Parameter Identification and Inverse Problems in Hydrology, Geology and Ecology, Karlsruhe, April 10-12, 1995, was organized to bring to gether an interdisciplinary group drawn from the areas of science, engineering and mathematics for the following purposes: – to promote, encourage and influence more understanding and cooperation in the community of parameter identifiers from various disciplines, – to forge unity in diversity by bringing together a variety of disciplines that attempt to understand the reconstruction of inner model parameters, un known nonlinear constitutive relations, heterogeneous structures inside of geological objects, sources or sinks from observational data, – to discuss modern regularization tools for handling improperly posed pro blems and strategies of incorporating a priori knowledge from the applied problem into the model and its treatment. These proceedings contain some of the results of the workshop, representing a bal anced selection of contributions from the various groups of participants. The reviewed invited and contributed articles are grouped according to the broad headings of hydrology, non-linear diffusion and soil physics, geophysical methods, mathematical analysis of inverse and ill-posed problems and parallel algorithms for inverse problems. Some of the issues adressed by the articles in these proceedings include the rela tion between least squares and direct formulations of inverse problems for partial differential equations, nonlinear regularization, identification of nonlinear consti tutive relations, fast parallel algorithms for large scale inverse problems, reduction of model structures, geostatistical inversion techniques.

Material Parameter Identification and Inverse Problems in Soft Tissue Biomechanics (Repost)

Free Download Stéphane Avril, Sam Evans, "Material Parameter Identification and Inverse Problems in Soft Tissue Biomechanics"
English | 2016 | ISBN: 3319450700, 3319832026 | PDF | pages: 161 | 5.8 mb
The articles in this book review hybrid experimental-computational methods applied to soft tissues which have been developed by worldwide specialists in the field. People developing computational models of soft tissues and organs will find solutions for calibrating the material parameters of their models; people performing tests on soft tissues will learn what to extract from the data and how to use these data for their models and people worried about the complexity of the biomechanical behavior of soft tissues will find relevant approaches to address this complexity.

Hydraulic Parameter Identification Generalized Interpretation Method for Single and Multiple Pumping Tests

Free Download Hydraulic Parameter Identification: Generalized Interpretation Method for Single and Multiple Pumping Tests by Luc C. Lebbe
English | PDF | 1999 | 371 Pages | ISBN : 3642642640 | 31.4 MB
Hydraulic parameter identification is a crucial step in hydrogeological investigations. The book proposes a unique and generalized interpretation method for single and multiple pumping tests made in groundwater reservoirs with layered heterogeneity and with or without lateral anisotropy. This method eliminates the drawbacks of the numerous and frequently applied interpretation methods. The book also presents an introduction to inverse modeling, resulting in optimal parameter values with their joint confidence region and the corresponding residuals. Cross sections through this multidimensional region elucidate the relation between the shape of this region and some statistical parameters describing the reliability of the identified parameters. This method is demonstrated by means of five pumping or recharge tests.

Word Order and Parameter Change in Romanian A Comparative Romance Perspective

Free Download Alexandru Nicolae, "Word Order and Parameter Change in Romanian: A Comparative Romance Perspective "
English | ISBN: 0198807368 | 2019 | 288 pages | PDF | 3 MB
The book provides a comprehensive description and in-depth analysis of the major word order changes that took place in the clausal and the nominal domains in the transition from old to modern Romanian. The data are set in a comparative Romance perspective, with attention also paid to the impact of the Balkan Sprachbund and the influence of Old Church Slavonic. Alexandru Nicolae’s analysis is based on a qualitative and quantitative examination of a large number of phenomena in a representative corpus of old Romanian texts. Some of these phenomena, such as scrambling, interpolation, discontinuous constituents, and variation in the position and linearization of DP-internal adjectival modifiers, are found across Romance, while others, such as the low position for pronominal cliticization, are relatively rare. Still others are specific to old and modern Romanian, such as the proclitic and enclitic realization of the same pronominal clitic, the low definite article, and the adjectival article construction.
